No Horizons Bar le Duc
Bar le Duc is a small town in the Lorraine region, not too far east of Paris. We stumbled across this place by chance and I thoroughly enjoyed the evening and morning I had there for photography. The light was exquisite on both occasions.
Ventures past Bar le Duc
As I travel about the place I often encounter buildings which disclose a rich past. Many of the trades or enterprises that once inhabited many such buildings are no longer with us, having been overrun by the 21st century. As such these represent important parts of our cultural history.
No horizons - Croatia
Most of Croatia remains quite rustic and charming, a photographers delight.
No horizons, le Perche
Le Perche is a region to the west and south of Paris with a rich cultural and agricultural history. As such it enjoys some protection as a "Parc Naturel" which aims to reduce the impact of urban sprawl and commercialism on these cultural values. Areas like the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale near us in South Australia could well do with such type of protection.
No horizons Brugge
Brugge is wonderful city to visit, a great place to explore. It may not have a lot of majestic buildings or monumental sights but the ambiance is delicious and definitely worth savouring.
